India's response amid Omicron Threat

This is a matter of grave concern for the government as initial studies have found this variant to be highly contagious. As for the travel industry, it is no more than a nightmare. To help the travel industry and deal with the new variant successfully, the Indian Government has started intensive screening at International airports for travelers arriving in India from at-risk countries. All travelers have to go through an RT-PCR test and the report has to be negative in order to leave the airport.
