India Travel Guidelines Update

If you are planning to travel to India, then you need to get the following checklist, as these are the new guidelines from the Government of India. Take no tension, in this article we have covered all the basic guidelines which the Government has given.

1. Submit a self-declaration form and upload it on the online Air Suvidha Portal, before the scheduled travel.

2. Upload a negative COVID-19 (Wuhan Virus) RT-PCR report, conducted within 72 hours before the journey.

3. You have to verify the authenticity of the report as well, by declaration. Which, if found wrong can land you in jail.

4. Get the Government App for management of COVID-19 (Wuhan Virus) situation. It is available on every app store by the name of Aarogya Setu. Playstore link is here, or go to https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nic.goi.aarogyasetu .

5. Only after filling the self-declaration form of point 1, on the Air Suvidha Portal, you will be allowed to board a plane to the beautiful country of India.

6. You should be asymptomatic in the thermal screening at the Airport, duh.

Also, it is a must for every individual to carry a negative RT-PCR report with them when visiting India.

Whether you are planning to visit India via sea or land, these rules still apply.

These rules will take effect from 25 October, 2021. Have a nice trip!
